Hello:   My name is Marham E. Sarty and I was bone in Toronto, Canada in 1949. In 1956 our family moved to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. In Victoria, at the age of eight, my parents started to teach me to paint on watercolor picnics.  Both of my parents can paint well. My mom had an oil landscape painting that hung in our living room. In the U.S.A. at the age of ten or eleven, I continued to paint watercolors that were framed and hung on the walls. At the age of sixteen, I won two Hallmark Gold Key Awards and a major art collector for the Olkland Art Museum purchased three watercolor paintings. I ended up at major art college in L.A. and have had two one-man shows and many other mixed art shows in the U.S.
